01What we do

Residential interiors in Pune

Jubilant Interior is a residential interior design and turnkey execution studio based in Pune. We take a home from bare walls to move-in ready, with design, materials and on-site work handled by one accountable team.

Homeowners usually come to us in one of two situations. Either they have just received possession of a flat and need everything from layout to lighting, or they live in a home that no longer works and want to rework a kitchen, a bedroom or a whole floor. We take both, and we are honest about which parts of the job are worth doing first.

How we work in Pune

We begin with a free consultation, then visit the home to measure it. A builder's drawing is a starting point. Walls, columns and shafts are rarely exactly where the plan says, and the difference decides whether a wardrobe fits.

You then see layouts and a 3D view, choose finishes, colours and materials, and receive a clear, itemised estimate before any work begins.

02Homes

Homes we design for in Pune

Pune has a wide mix of homes, and each type needs a different kind of planning.

New-possession apartments

You receive a shell: plain walls, basic electrical points and little storage. This is the best moment to plan, because wiring, ceiling heights, switch and TV positions and the kitchen layout can all be set before any furniture goes in. Tell us your possession date and we will sequence the work around it.

Bungalows and row houses

Several floors, a staircase, a terrace, a larger kitchen and often a separate pooja room. These homes need a plan that links the floors, with staircase and railing details, storage on every level and care where terraces and balconies meet living space. Larger homes are quoted individually.

Renovating a lived-in flat

Often the aim is to fix what is not working without gutting the whole home: a kitchen, a wardrobe wall, a dull ceiling. We phase the work so you can keep living there where possible, and we tell you in advance which jobs are noisy or dusty.

Compact 1 and 2 BHK flats

Smaller flats reward careful planning. Storage that runs to the ceiling, a layout that keeps the walking space clear and lighting that makes the room feel larger do more than extra furniture. Our packages start here.

03Planning notes

Planning a home for Pune's weather

Pune has hot, dry months followed by a heavy monsoon. Wood and finishes live through both, so the plan should allow for it.

  1. Dry summers, heavy monsoon

Wood dries out in summer and takes up moisture in the rains. Choose moisture-resistant boards for the kitchen and for any woodwork near external walls or balcony doors, seal every cut edge and leave small ventilation gaps rather than packing units tight against the wall.

  2. Keep woodwork off damp walls

External walls and the walls around bathrooms can sweat during the monsoon. Back panels, a thin air gap and a check of the wall's waterproofing before cabinets go up prevent most of the swelling and staining that people notice a year later.

  3. Dust in the dry months

Dry weather brings dust indoors. Closed storage with well-fitted shutters keeps clothes and crockery cleaner than open shelving, and open shelves are best kept for a few things you are happy to wipe.

  4. Afternoon heat and light

Rooms that face west can get hot in the afternoon. Curtains or blinds, lighter wall colours and well-placed fans and lights make these rooms easier to live in without relying on the air conditioner alone.

  5. Fix cooling points early

If you plan to install air conditioners, decide the unit positions, the pipe routes and the drain lines at the electrical stage. Cutting into finished walls and ceilings later is messy and shows.

Pune FAQ

Questions about interiors in Pune

Which parts of Pune do you work in?

We currently take projects across Pune and Mumbai. Tell us where the home is when you enquire and we will confirm the site visit. We do not list areas on this page because we accept projects one at a time.

Can you design a new-possession flat from the bare shell?

Yes. This is where planning matters most. We set the electrical points, ceiling heights, kitchen layout and storage before furniture goes in, then handle the civil, carpentry, painting and finishing as one project.

Do you take only a kitchen or wardrobes in Pune?

Yes. You can book a single service such as a modular kitchen, wardrobes, a false ceiling or a living room, or hand us the whole home.

How does the monsoon affect an interior project?

Humidity affects wood, paint, polish and adhesives. We plan wet jobs such as painting for drier conditions where we can, protect materials on site and tell you when a stage is better postponed. Moisture-resistant boards and sealed edges reduce the risk in finished work.

What materials do you suggest for Pune's climate?

Moisture-resistant boards for the kitchen and for woodwork near external walls, good-quality laminates with sealed edges, and fittings that resist rust near the kitchen and balconies. We explain the options at the material selection stage so you can choose with the cost in front of you.

What does a home interior cost in Pune?

It depends on the size of the home, the scope and the finishes. Our packages show starting prices in lakh for 1, 2 and 3 BHK homes. After the site visit you receive an itemised estimate with no hidden costs.

Do you work on bungalows and independent houses?

Yes. These are larger projects with staircases, terraces and several floors, so we quote them individually after a site visit.

Do I need permission from my housing society?

Societies set their own rules on work hours, lift use and the movement of materials. Check with your society office before work starts and share the rules with us, so we can build the schedule around them.

Will I see the design before work begins?

Yes. We prepare layouts and a 3D view, and you choose finishes, colours and materials, before production begins.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. Tell us about your home, your needs and your budget and we will talk it through. The consultation is free.
